They dropped a torpedo loading skid on my hand and fortunately, it only smashed my middle finger, right hand. Needless to say, it produced a blood blister under my fingernail. I went back to the after battery to find the Doc and what does he do? Straightens out a paperclip, heats it with his Zippo lighter and burns a hole in my nail to vent off the blood, felt good relieving the pressure but sure smelt bad burning nail and flesh!! Paul |
