For those of you who missed the action on an internet auction site the other night, yours truly, on behalf of the Torsk Museum, Association and Bandits - SCORED...

We are bringing in several 16mm home movies taken before, during and after the USS Torsk's (SS-423) 2nd war patrol in Aug-Sept. 1945. As before, I will be converting these films to VHS tapes (PAL as needed for you "down under guys"). These movies promise to be GREAT (see clips attached to this email). I will be sending the films down south to be edited, transferred and reproduced and also have narration and WWII era music added. The finished product promises to be excellent.

For those of you who have purchased the Silent Service tapes, the posters, the plaques, or the blueprints etc. etc. in the past, you know that you'll be getting true "bang for your buck". I expect these tapes to be ready and mailed out in 4 to 6 weeks max (as said, I haven't started yet )...

Keep in mind that it was the Torsk, on her 2nd war patrol, who is credited with sinking the last Japanese warship (a frigate) in WWII (with a Mk 27 acoustic from 400' under), Cdr. Bafford Lewellen was her C.O. during this time.

You can take advantage of this offered pre-sale and get your name at the top of the mailing list now - INTERESTED ??? email me now for your reservation and then send payment of $18.50 (your personal check is fine) to me at the address below. This is a money back, guaranteed offer from me (personally), don't be left out...

Best Regards,
