Bill,

Thanks for getting back to me.  I was the kid from Vermont with an accent and a speech impediment who spent most of my time as a deck hand. I left the boat as an ETR3(SS).  There were a lot of ET's that spent a lot of time as  deck hands because there was a lot of training going on for the people that were on the 9901 and 9902 program. I got on the boat in May or June in 1964 and got off the boat just before it went overseas in June (?) 1966.

I spent 5 years in San Diego, graduating from San Diego State in 1971.  From there, we moved to Toledo, Oregon, a town just east of Newport, Oregon on the central Oregon coast.  We have just sold our house and going to hit the open road in our motorhome.  At this time, we do not plan to have a phone for a while.  My new address will be a P.O. box 1208, Marcola, Oregon 97454.  Our E-mail address will stay the same as gypsysouthwind@earthlink.net

Thanks again,
Soon to be retired,

Russ Sears

Russ,

Give me your full name, rank, address, tel number, years on Raton and email address.  Obviously you gave a couple but I will update the database and upload it to the web page at www.ratonss270.com .  I also will forward your email with that information to my Raton email list (approx 140) to let them know of a new addition to the crew listing.  I should know you but I don't remember your name.  I was on the Raton from 1/64 to 7/65.

Hi,

How do I get my name on the list?  I tried several different time and nothing seems to work.
I was on the Raton from 1964 to 1966.  I would do it all over again.
I will retire from my present job Feb. 1 and will be RV ing.
