Ralph worked for Rickover for about 4 years at the Shipping port PA Nuclear
Power Plant.\
After retiring from the Navy in 1970, Ralph went to work for The Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Co. (HSB). Ralph worked as a Utility Inspection Specialist in nuclear power plants, fossil fueled power plants, hydro electric power plants and heavy industry plants of all kinds. This work took Ralph all over the U. S., South Africa, Spain, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, China and most every place in between. After 28 years at HSB, Ralph retired in 1998.
Ralph and his wife have 3
daughter’s, 4 granddaughter’s and 3 grandson’s. They are both “Calif. Prune
Picker’s” and now live in Santa Clara.
