LT Edward J. Brown, USN (Ret.) passed away on 13 Jan 05 after a five month illness  His last real good day was 30 Sep 04, when he attended the 50th Anniversary of the USS Nautilus in Groton, CT.

He fell ill the next day and spent the remainder of the celebration weekend in the hospital in New London. He recovered from that medical emergency, but sadly entered a steady decline in health over the next months and died from a massive stroke...he was 75.
