Captain Steve Logue died Tuesday March 25, 2003 in York PA after a bout with cancer.

He was a member of the Class of 1972 at the Naval Academy and received a Masters Degree in Financial Management from the Naval Postgraduate School.

He served in submarines for most of career and then served as SEA 92R and his final tour was Commander of the Naval Undersea Warfare Division in Newport, RI.

After retirement he joined International Survey Research as Vice President in Chicago. His most recent assignment was Director of Operations, International Finance Department or Baker & McKenzie, the largest international legal firm in the world.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy, and his two children, Christine Marie Cookinham and Stephen John Logue, Jr. and four grandsons as well as his brother, Andy Logue, and two sisters, Christine Savage and Joanne Logue.

A viewing is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home, Mount Rose Ave, York, PA 17403 (717)-854-9211.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Patrick' Church, 231 Beaver ST in York with burial in Holy Savior Cemetery with military honors by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
