CAPT John A. Webster, USN (Ret.) Update
There will be a Memorial Service for John Webster at the USNA Chapel 1000 11 May. His ashes will be interred in the Columbarium. His illness was first diagnosed in December as cancer with lesions on lungs, stomach and liver. He was being treated at a cancer center at USC in Los Angeles where the lung and stomach lesions had been eliminated but not those on the liver. The end came suddenly and unexpectedly.

When a donation is made, please note: In Memory of John A. Webster, Jr. (Donations will be directed to melanoma research and tax deduction forms will be sent to the donor(s) from USC). USC will provide donation envelopes at the memorial service.

When sending an Honor Chair donation, be sure to mention the name: CAPT John A. Webster, Jr. (USN, ret.) Class of 1956. Honor Chairs are in the Naval Academy Alumni Hall.  The memorial chair will have a plaque with John's name.
