This has been a year of change and challenge for Israel:

January – Palestinians elect terrorist-Hamas to lead them
July – Hezbollah-Lebanon war and thousands of rockets fired on northern Israel
October -- Iran’s president declares that “Israel should be wiped off the map” and continues his drive for nuclear weapons
November – Carter’s book released stating apartheid conditions in Palestine
December -- Baker’s Iraq Study Group says that if Israel gives up the Golan, Iraq will improve

That’s a lot for any country to have to deal with. But the combination of ground war of rockets, suicide bombs, kidnappings and an “air war” fought in the media mean that Israel needs TIP’s and your help more than ever.

Does TIP’s media education work make a difference? Yes it does. TIP’s opinion polls showed that American support for Israel increased after the war based on TV, radio and print coverage:

There were more than 30,000 press articles about the war, resulting in 60% of American voters saying they supported Israel in this conflict – that support was sustained in TIP’s November 7 election day polling of US voters.
407 journalists have taken our helicopter tour over Israel
TIP helped influence public opinion with 84,000 signatures on a petition to the UN asking them to stop Iran from going nuclear.
One email campaign resulted in over 9,000 letters to the editor to 1,012 US newspapers warning of the danger of a nuclear Iran.
