In a new audio message Thursday, the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq called for explosives experts and nuclear scientists to join his group's holy war against the West. He also said that more than 4,000 foreign insurgent fighters have been killed in Iraq since the US-led invasion in 2003.
That comment was believed to be the first major statement from insurgents in Iraq about their losses....

al-Qaeda Submarine Threat to Ras Tanura?

The reaction to the intelligence has been primarily to marshal allied naval assets to protect the world’s largest offshore oil export facility, the Ras Tanura terminal, as well as Bahrain’s Bapco refinery.
The potential methods of an al-Qaeda attack on the offshore Ras Tanura terminal are numerous, including an explosives-laden small craft such as that used against the USS Cole or a rocket or missile attack from a small craft or even an attack from al-Qaeda operatives that may have infiltrated the Saudi Arabian military or the terminal and/or refinery staff....

Al-Qaeda Threatens "Truth about Muhammad" Author
Its' true. The Islamic terrorist group Al-Qaeda recently threatened the life of HUMAN EVENTS columnist Robert Spencer, author of many bestselling books about Islam, including the new biography, The Truth About Muhammad.
The threat was issued in a new videotape from "Azzam the American," a.k.a. Adam Gadahn -- a high Al-Qaeda operative -- who names Spencer along with four other authors as "Zionist Crusaders, missionaries of hate and counter Islam consultants."
The tape then "invites" Spencer and the four others -- along with "crusader-in-chief George W. Bush" -- to "abandon their unbelief and repent and enter into the light of Islam and turn their swords against the enemies of God."...

Amanpour whitewashes jihad and smears Jews and Christians
Global Jihad: CNN's chief apologist for Islam, Christiane Amanpour, has gone too far this time. Not content to just whitewash jihad, she says Jews and Christians are terrorists, too.
According to her new three-part series, "God's Warriors," militant Islamists are really no different than right-wing Christians or Jews. So who are we in the West to judge?
